How to Craft a Sweet Chocolate Coin Bracelet or Necklace
Chocolate coin charm jewelry is an unexpected, delightful accessory that combines the sweetness of chocolate with the elegance of jewelry. Whether you want to create a unique gift or simply indulge your own creativity, making a chocolate coin charm bracelet or necklace is a fun and rewarding project. In this tutorial, I’ll guide you through the process of adding wire to chocolate coins and assembling them into a charming bracelet or a pendant necklace
SUPPLIES:
Chocolate coins (foil-wrapped)
Food grade wire (I used Wilton brand)
Jewelry pliers (round-nose and flat-nose)
Chain Bracelet and/or necklace
Latex gloves
Wire cutters
Needle nose pliers
Bamboo skewers or toothpicks
Gather your materials. Poke a hole with your skewer through the top of the coin. Make sure there is enough foil to keep the wire secure.
Take one piece of wire and bend it into a “U” shape. Thread one end through the hole in the coin and the other end through the chain or ring. Tuck in the wires by gently curling them with your needle nose pliers. Clip off any wire ends that are poking out.
Continue to add coins until you are happy with your design – or you run out of chocolate.
Your chocolate coin charm jewelry is now ready to wear or gift! Admire your handiwork and enjoy the sweet charm of your new accessory. Just remember, since real chocolate is involved, be cautious in warm environments to prevent melting.
